Reading 1900-1950 is off for its Easter Holidays. Hopefully my Easter reading – Galsworthy’s Forsyte Saga – will help me recover from the disturbing excesses of Ethel M. Dell! Back on the 8th April.

To you too! Travelling is still a bit difficult in the UK with all the lying snow, so perhaps a weekend to stay at home with a good book!

Forsyte Saga – you may find some of the scenes rather modern for the period. Galsworthy himself married a divorced woman whom he had rescued from a violent marriage – but only after his father died. He could not bring himself to tell his father the true state of affairs.
